The Christmas 2021 bottling from our fancy-trousered chums at Berry Bros & Rudd is a Royal Brackla 2007 that started life with 12 years of maturation in refill hogsheads before a generous two year finishing period in a Pedro Ximenez sherry butt, and is designed as the perfect post-prandial Christmas whisky. Bottled at a festive 50.6%, only 539 bottles of this Christmas Edition Royal Brackla were yielded from the sherry cask, so if you want a Royal dram to watch the Queen with on Christmas Day you’ll need to be quick.
